Well actually if you are a gamer, yeah use windows! Get this pain in the ass I don't mind, but don't try to run windows xp and windows 2000 together in an enterprise environment. This was what I was talking about. Surely windows can do nice things by paying $125, although linux does it better and for free.

When speaking in terms of system administration don't even try to make complicated tasks quickly in windows by taking your time, going throught N screens and trying to make it do what you wanted. In this way linux is much better than windows, just spawn a terminal, type some commands (includins man) and you are done!

And if you miss some games for playing a little linux have the old ones that were really playful, not only good graphics.

If you have Windows XP, why do you use linux?
Basically I dont see any advantages to using linux over windows xp, Im dual booting windows
and ubuntu. Ubuntu is nice and all but I dont see anything that would make me prefer it
over windows. The only thing i have been using ubuntu for is web browsing playing
music/movies (cant play games) which I can do better/hassle free in windows.
So what are the advantages of l using linux over xp?
